Our Mission
To be FORMED like Jesus.
Our Vision
See a world on fire for Jesus ONE CITY, ONE  DISCIPLE, ONE  GENERATION at a time
ready to experience
genuine community?
We believe God has a purpose for your life, and that He is already moving in every person's life calling us into a real relationship with Him and others.  It is our mission to go beyond a Sunday morning  service and truly connect  by walking alongside one another in genuine community. Loneliness is a painful epidemic this generation is facing and we are a spirit-filled community where ALL can belong and find genuine connection and freedom!  We want to do life with you and empower your faith so that you can experience true victory!
We believe walking through these four steps brings life-giving transformation:
Whether you have never explored your spirituality, or you have been a Christian for a long time, we believe you belong in this journey of discovering deeper fulfillment in life because yes, you were FORMED for more!
We believe walking through these four steps brings life-giving transformation:
- KNOW GOD
 - FIND FREEDOM
 - DISCOVER PURPOSE
 - MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

Whether you have never explored your spirituality, or you have been a Christian for a long time, we believe you belong in this journey of discovering deeper fulfillment in life because yes, you were FORMED for more!
1. Know God
'the Devoted Worshipper'
“Is God real?” This question is googled 200 times per second every day worldwide!  Our generation is hungry for truth and is seeking it! Whether you believe in God or not, YOU BELONG with us right where you are in life. We are a place of open  doors for you to  explore a relationship with God for yourself either for the first time, or in a deeper way than you have before. We are creating Sunday experiences to be a place where people can encounter God’s loving presence through His word, worship, prayer, and community.  As we get to know the loving heart of God, we begin to desire to love Him back and do His will for our lives.

2. Find Freedom
'the Empowered Witness'
Many things in this world entangle us in bondage like sin, hurt, unforgiveness, metal battles, brokenness, addiction and so much more. We believe that the truth of the Gospel has the power to set people free! We believe that this is GREAT news! Beyond Sunday services, our community groups are designed to help you go deeper in your walk and do life with other believers so that you can find freedom through prayer, God’s word, loving relationships, and daily encounters.  When we embody the characteristics of this step we become ‘empowered witnesses’ who experience the work of the Holy Spirit in their lives, producing freedom and the power to witness to others.
3. Discover Purpose
'the Called Servant'
When we find our identity in Christ, true and fulfilling purpose follows as a result. God FORMED each of us with a calling and a unique purpose in the earth and we want to support you as you find that path in your individual life. We will provide support to explore your personality, spiritual gifts, passions, talents, and experiences to get a big picture of who God has created you to be. When we embody the characteristics of this step, we begin to walk as 'called servants' who will  embrace the character and mission of Jesus and begin to take steps to experience true purpose!

4. Make a Difference
'the Fruitful Disciple-Maker'
There is nothing more fulfilling than beginning to see the fruit of your ‘yes’ to God’s call. This is true joy. Making a difference in the world around us is the very reason we were created! Jesus calls us to be fruitful and multiply, and this is what we are calling the 'fruitful disciple-maker' who is someone who has embodied the characteristics of each of these 4 steps and is now producing more disciples who are also producing more disciples. This is the great commission from Matthew 28:19 when Jesus said, “go make disciples of all nations,” and we are committed to doing just that!
What we believe
"What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us."
- A.W. Tozer
The Triune God
We believe that there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three persons are coequal and co- eternal.
Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus is the second person of the Trinity, fully God and fully man. He was born of a virgin, established the Kingdom of God on earth, died on a cross for all people, atoning for our sins. He rose from the dead on the third day, returned to the Father, and will physically return again one day.
The Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity and dwells in people when they place their faith in Christ. The Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, helps us grow in Christ, and empowers and emboldens us to live our lives for Christ.
Scripture
We believe that the scriptures were written under the direction and inspiration of the Holy Spirit. We believe that both the Old and New Testaments reveal to us the will of God and are without error in all that they affirm.
Sin
We believe that because of Adam and Eve’s sin, we are all born with a bent towards sin. Consequently, we have all sinned and are sinners. Sin is a willful violation of a law of God and is only forgiven through the sacrifice of Christ.
Atonement
We believe that because of Jesus’ death on the cross he has made a way to be fully reconciled
Grace
We believe that we are all given the choice between right and wrong and are morally responsible. The grace of God through Jesus Christ is freely given to all people enabling us to be made right with God while turning away from our sins and following after Him
Repentance
We believe that repentance means a “change in direction.” When we repent, we turn from our way and follow after God’s way.
Justification, Regeneration, and Adoption
We believe that when we follow Christ in faith, God pardons us of all our sins, creates in us a new life that is sensitive to the Spirit, and enables us to follow Christ. We become children of God through adoption.
Sanctification
We believe that once we are made new in Christ, we continue to grow into full spiritual maturity. God’s grace, and His Spirit in us, enables us to love God and others with a whole heart, live with victory over sin, and become fully human like God created us to be. This transformation takes place through a process and through key moments. We are fully surrendered to God and his will
The Church
We believe that the Church was established by Christ and is strengthened by the Holy Spirit to carry out the Great Commission until Christ returns.
Baptism
We believe that baptism is an outward sign of an inner transformation that has taken place through faith. It is a symbol of our new life and a confession of our new faith.
Communion
We believe that communion represents Christ’s death and resurrection. Through communion, Christians participate in the life offered by Christ. The Lord’s Supper is a means of grace in which Christ is present by the Spirit.
Divine Healing
We believe that God can miraculously heal any sickness or ailment, and God also chooses to heal by medical science
Second Coming
We believe that Jesus will return to establish an eternal Kingdom and make right the brokenness of this world.
Resurrection
We believe in a future judgment in which every person will be judged according to their deeds and that everlasting life will be granted to all who have faith in Christ.
Marriage
We believe that marriage was established by God, and that His will is for marriage to be an exclusive lifelong covenant between one man and one woman.

Our pastors

Pastors Eddie and Lorin Stuart
Lead Co-Pastors of The Formed
Eddie and his wife, Lorin, have dedicated their lives to see genuine transformation in communities through the power of Jesus! After being radically delivered from addiction and trauma, they have been built in the fire, and found themselves deeply broken for this generation. They felt the call to give it all for God and step into full time ministry and were compelled by Christ’s commission to ‘make disciples of all nations.” They have served in addictions ministries, youth ministries, and other community-building programs.  A great shift took place in 2025 when, along with many others, they undeniably sensed God beginning to share a vision for a new fresh move of His Spirit right here in Jackson, Tennessee. Eddie and Lorin believe there is a stirring hunger for something new and life-giving here, and are humbly committed to building something that is led by God’s Spirit to welcome great transformation for this community!  Along with their three children they have moved from Memphis to Jackson to plant “The Formed” and open the doors of a revival of love and restoration! They believe God is gathering a great harvest in these times so that we can see a world on fire for Jesus one person, one city, one generation at a time!
